Amarok & Retrospective & Less Is Lessie

ProgDreams presents Polish Prog! No festival this year, but of course there is plenty of room on our stage for really cool prog rock. This evening three bands from Poland; so actually a kind of mini-festival!

AMAROK
Amarok is an art-rock music project with extremely atmospheric, well-balanced and Floyd-nostalgic music.Guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and singer Michał Wojtas and his bandmates released their seventh album Hope this year. Ten ambitious compositions in which the band experiments and plays with genres while maintaining a high level. Amarok played on the same stage as Nick Mason, Gazpacho, Bjørn Riis, Riverside.
Special guest: Colin Bass (Camel)

RETROSPECTIVE

Retrospective has developed its own characteristic style within prog rock / art rock, including the combination of the powerful voice of Jakub Roszak and the melodious singing of Beata Łagoda. They are supported by a strong rhythm section and two guitarists who rock. Their energetic live shows will appeal to fans of Riverside, Porcupine Tree and Anathema.

LESS IS LESSIE
Less is Lessie tells stories. The concept of their album The Escape Plan is a musical journey through their hometown of Warsaw, from different perspectives. Just like the city, their music encompasses different styles and atmospheres: every song sounds different, leaving you curious about what is to come. Their music is electronic, but there is also room for instruments such as piano, violin, cello, flute, guitar and even theremin. Think of Archive and Marillion and sometimes Gazpacho, at times with jazzy touches.
