
Bjørn Riis is one of the most acclaimed and prolific artists in the Norwegian progressive rock scene. As co-founder of Airbag and solo artist, he enjoys worldwide success.
Airbag has shared the stage with legendary bands such as Marillion, Yes, Saga, Neil Morse and Riverside and played at major festivals such as Night of the Prog.
Riis now has a successful solo career and released the critically acclaimed albums Lullabies in a Car Crash (2014), Forever Comes to an End (2017) and Coming Home (2018). The fourth album, Fimbulvinter, is scheduled for release in April this year. His band consists of Airbag drummer Henrik Bergan Fossum, keyboardist Simen Valldal Johanssen (Oak), bassist Kristian Hultgren (Wobbler) and guitarist Ole Michael Bjørndal (Airbag/ Oak).

This Norwegian progressive pop/rock band originated from a folk rock duo. The four band members have diverse backgrounds, ranging from classical piano to electronica, prog and hard rock, with influences from both the alternative scene and progressive rock. This has resulted in a distinctive and unique sound.
