Livin' Blues
In 2024, Livin' Blues not only released a new album, but also a documentary. And a long-awaited tour followed! Founded by Nicko Christiansen and Ted Oberg, with Cesar Zuiderwijk and Henk Smitskamp in the line-up, Livin’ Blues conquered Europe in the 70s with their blues hits. More than 50 years later, they are still on stage, driven by the same passion. After winning the Dutch National Blues Award in 2008 and the release of the impressive documentary Rock City, the life we live last year, Livin’ Blues proves once again why they are an icon in the blues world!

Bas Paardekooper: unanimously voted Best Blues Musician of the Netherlands 2024 by the professional jury of the Dutch Blues Awards! A recognition for his unprecedented musicality, technical finesse, compelling stage act and pure passion for the blues. With his band, consisting of Roel van Leeuwen (drums) and André de Bruijn (bass), Bas plays Power Blues Rock of international level. Their music is praised worldwide, even in Korea – where they have never played before!
