Celtica has been around since 2010, but the current line-up has been active since 2020. Recently the band was extended by Ernesto Góngora, one of the world's best bagpipe and flute players. The band now has an extensive back catalogue. They played together with a classical orchestra and a huge choir. A live performance by Celtica is a true spectacle: torches on bagpipes, burning drumsticks and huge drums. Celtica is one of the most sought after bands at Celtic, Scottish, steampunk and medieval festivals and is a perfect finale to the Historic Festival Zoetermeer.
