Delain has belonged to the absolute top of the symphonic rock and metal scene for quite some time now. And now the band comes up with a brand new line-up, new show and, of course, a new album. Ready to conquer the world again!
Delain was founded in 2002 by ex-Within Temptation keyboard player Martijn Westerholt. Since 2021, the songwriter and keyboardist has been joined by ex-members Ronald Landa (guitars) and Sander Zoer (drums). And at the beginning of last year, Delain was further augmented by singer Diana Leah and bassist Ludovico Cioffi. With the album Dark Waters, the band is ready for the next era, while still producing the sound that fans and critics alike love: catchy, bombastic tunes full of contrast and orchestral arrangements of the highest order. The new line up provides catchy tracks with tight guitar riffs, excellent drumming, pounding bass lines and compelling keyboard work. Supplemented by the flawless vocals of Diana who perfectly captures the atmosphere of Delain with her stunning and breathtaking voice.
