DeWolff

+ special guests Dawn Brothers

DeWolff

When Roger Glover heard them play live, he thought Deep Purple Mark II was playing on stage without him. Seasick Steve thought he was back in 1972 and could hear The Allman Brothers play when he awoke backstage from a deep sleep. But what both musicians actually heard was of course Dutch band DeWolff: a young and fire-breathing Hammond-driven power trio with an explosive mix of blues rock and a touch of soul and psychedelia.

Robin Piso and the brothers Luka and Pablo van de Poel are some of the most driven, energetic and virtuoso musicians you will ever encounter. These hard-working musicians are making their own way through music history and their palette of colors is only getting richer. You can compare the band with Leon Russel, Deep Purple, Black Keys and Allman Brothers. But DeWolff is above all DeWolff: an old soul in a young body, a stubborn and hard rocking young band. Even though they've been at it for over a decade, these guys are just getting started…

Special Guests: Dawn Brothers
Who says roots music can't be innovative? While the Dawn Brothers embrace an authentic approach to music, these musicians are firmly focused on the present and the future. Golden melodies and strong interplay form the unshakable foundation of the band. And with their vocal harmonies they frequently raise the roof. No gimmick or show: The Dawn Brothers are the closest you can get to the real deal. The combination of apparent casualness and utter craftsmanship that makes the Dawn Brothers so damned delightful to watch.
DeWolff and Dawn Brothers often work together. Among others in the project Next of Kin, with Tim Knol, with whom they played already at the Boerderij. And now back on stage together!
