The crème de la crème of Dutch hard rock and metal join forces again to pay Ronnie James Dio (1942-2010) a fitting tribute. With a new setlist and this time an even longer show. During The Memorial Concert, all stages of the career of the little man with the great voice are highlighted.
Count on many classics from Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio. But also on surprising choices from the extensive repertoire to which Ronnie James Dio has lent his voice. The star line-up during this special evening consists of vocalists John Jaycee Cuijpers (Arjen Lucassen's Ayreon & Supersonic Revolution / Praying Mantis) and Lisette van den Berg (Scarlet Stories / Ayreon), guitarist Ruud Jolie and keyboardist Martijn Spierenburg (both Within Temptation), Menno Gootjes (Focus / Black Nazareth), bassist Johan van Stratum (Blind Guardian / VUUR / The Gentle Storm / Stream of Passion) and drummer Stef Broks (Textures).
