Dizzy Mizz Lizzy

Danish rock band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy sparked a true rock revival in Denmark in the 1990s. The band is named after a song from The Beatles. Combine the melodies of the 'Fab Four' with the energy of Led Zeppelin and the result is Dizzy Mizz Lizzy!
Dizzy Mizz Lizzy was founded in 1988. In 1994, Tim Christensen, Martin Nielsen and Søren Friis-Larsen put the name Dizzy Mizz Lizzy on the map with their eponymous debut album. The band had great successes in Denmark and even in Japan until the end of the 1990s, when eventually, in 1998, the band decides to break up. Christensen starts a successful solo career, the other band members temporarily step out of the limelight. There would be a short-term reunion in 2009, but since 2014 it's full throttle again. In 2015 the band was one of the highlights at the Bospop festival, many sold-out club shows followed.
