Steve Gadd & Hermine Deurloo and Big Apple Band

Hermine Deurloo is a harmonica player known from many familiar soundtracks, but also from advertising tunes such as Unox's. Her album "Riverbeast" will be released at the end of 2019. A number of big names have worked on the album; among them is icon-drummer Steve Gadd, the first single is a duet with vocalist Alain Clark. During the 'Riverbeast Tour' they join forces with the Big Apple Band.
Hermine Deurloo was the winner of the prestigious Bernie Bray Award for best harmonica player in 2018 - Toots Thielemans and Stevie Wonder preceded her. She also had a showcase at Jazzahead which resulted in many performances abroad. Hermine played a.o. at Cairo Jazz and Manchester Jazz. She did concerts with Metropole Orchestra and guest appearances with Douwe Bob and Alain Clark. She also performed at North Sea Jazz and did a Stevie Wonder Tribute with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and Jeangu Macrooy. Steve Gadd needs no introduction. He is one of the most iconic drummers from the 70s to the present. Remember the intro to Paul Simon's '50 Ways to Leave Your Lover' and the drum solo on the legendary 'Aja' by Steely Dan. This year, he won a Grammy with his Steve Gadd Band. Steve played on albums by Paul McCartney, James Taylor and Rickie Lee Jones. Alain Clark is special guest on this tour. He performs the single 'If We Can Trust Each Other' and some of his best-known hits (Steve Gadd also played on Alain's album "Live it Out"). Alongside Steve Gadd, The Big Apple Band consists of bass player Tony Scherr (Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Norah Jones, Snarky Puppy), guitarist Luca Benedetti and keyboardist Jon Cowherd (Rosanna Cash, Iggy Pop, Cassandra Wilson, Madeleine Peyroux).
