It's a tradition! IQ will perform in December with their unique X-mas Bash. British progressive rock band IQ was founded in 1981 by guitarist Mike Holmes. The band now has many loyal followers, also in the Netherlands. Around Christmas time, IQ traditionally organizes two exclusive shows, one in England and one in the Netherlands.
Especially in the early years, IQ was heavily influenced by Genesis. Their theatrical performance and the unusual costumes used during gigs also evoke memories of Peter Gabriel. Musically, however, the band has managed to develop a varied and unique sound over the years: solid, but also melodic rock, supplemented with profound and often cryptic lyrics. This X-mas Bash is a great success every year with fans from all over the world, a unique atmosphere and special songs.
