Manfred Mann's Earth Band

Who doesn't know the songs Blinded by the Light and Davy's on the Road Again? Hits from the 70s that are still in the Top 2000 today. Manfred Mann was already successful in the 60s, but after he founded Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1971, things really took off.

This was also the case in the Netherlands; in 1977, they headlined the famous Pinkpop festival. And since then, they have continued to make successful albums and perform. Manfred Mann isn't thinking about quitting as long as he knows people still want to hear his music. And you can bet they do: every time he plays with his band at De Boerderij, he manages to sell out the venue! Manfred Mann’s Earth Band consists of Mann himself on keyboards, co-founder Mick Rogers (guitars and vocals), bassist Steve Kinch, singer Robert Hart (known from Bad Company) and drummer John Lingwood.
