Arjen and Robert met each other in the early nineties and there was an immediate connection, both musically and personally. They started working on some songs just for fun and before they knew it they had gathered a lot of great ideas. They recorded many basic ideas together with other musicians and attracted the attention of producers and record companies. But other projects caused Plan Nine to fade into the background for a while. Yet they managed to keep track of each other and the pleasure in working together was rekindled. Fast forward to 2022: Arjen and Robert have dusted off the old recordings. Songs are rewritten and re-recorded and potential gems are further developed. This results in an album with original and fiery songs with a loving nod to the '70s and '80s.
