The band members of British Pure Reason Revolution share their love for bands such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac and Kraftwerk. This results in a unique sound with elements of progressive, indie rock and electronic music.
The band was formed in 2003 but created a big buzz in 2006 with the release of their debut album The Dark Third. After several major tours - including supporting Blackfield and Porcupine Tree - and a number of strong albums, the band split up in November 2011. However, in 2019, bandleader Jon Courtney decided to get the band back together for a show at the Midsummer Prog festival. This was such a success that they decided to continue on. This led to the acclaimed album Eupnea in 2020. Followed in 2022 by Above Cirrus. Currently the band is working on new songs as well as remixes/alternate versions of older songs.
Support: Inhalo
A band in the vein of Riverside. Inhalo is not a newcomer; all band members have earned their stripes by playing shows across the continent in bands such as A Liquid Landscape, Ivy's Dream and The Heaven's Devils, supporting the likes of Karnivool, Riverside and Marillion. Dutch rock magazine Aardschok wrote about their debut: “an achievement of international stature.”
