Ray was the lead singer of the grunge band Stiltskin, they had a big hit with Inside. He then succeeded Phil Collins as lead vocalist of Genesis. After the band decided to split up, Ray threw himself completely into a successful solo career. However, his love for Genesis will always remain and his live performances with a big band are a nice mix of Genesis classics, own songs and of course Inside.
