Due to work at the intersection of the Amerikaweg/Vorstiusrode, traffic coming from Stadshart / Europaweg on the Amerikaweg towards Poppodium Boerderij will probably experience some disruption today. It is not possible to turn left to the service road of the Amerikaweg and the entrance of Poppodium Boerderij. Further on at the roundabout towards Meerzichtlaan you can reach Poppodium Boerderij via the Meerzichtlaan exit from the other side (at Gymworld).
Regressive Hypnosis consists of passionate musicians with a shared love for the founders of modern progressive rock Dream Theater. The band will perform the album Images and Words in its entirety plus many other Dream Theater favorites. The band draws from 15 brilliant albums full of complex and varied material and makes an evening-long journey through the career of Dream Theater.
During Covid-19, guitarist and founder Barry van Smeden worked with keyboardist Marco Hoogerheide, bassist Leroy Klein and drummer Eelco van der Meer on a set with songs from almost every Dream Theater album. After a long search for the right vocalist, Jermain van der Bogt (better known as Wudstik) convinced the band with his enormous range and mastery of different styles. He was the missing link that finally made Regressive Hypnosis complete.
Expect classics such as Metropolis part 1, This Dying Soul and The Spirit Carries On, but also lesser-known songs, long epics and challenging songs such as Pale Blue Dot and Breaking All Illusions. Regressive Hypnosis treats you to a lively, energetic show with their 'journey through 35 years of Dream Theater'.
