The musicians of Rough 'n Tumble have been bringing the house down on many a stage for years with their energetic shows. As leading Dutch music magazine Oor wrote, the band stands for 'cheeky ripping and grooving R&B and rock 'n roll with a bluesy edge'. The band consists of brothers Martin and Anton Moesker (vocals, harmonica and guitars), Arthur Delandes on bass and Rob Louwers on drums, who played with legends such as Link Wray and Q65.
Rough 'n Tumble is a welcome guest on stages that program live music. The band has built up a great reputation as a live band and has played with, among others, The Pretty Things, Ten Years After and Robin Trower. Original material and classics by Creedence, Stones and Earring alternate rapidly in a live setting.
Rough 'n Tumble has released three albums: 'Going Places' and the 'Live at the Wangbar', recorded at the Boerderij, about which Fret magazine wrote: 'A wonderful rhythm & blues record.' Their last album Eyes On The Road was released in the summer of 2023 with the multi-viewed videos of 'All Eyes On The Road' and 'So Together'. The band is looking forward to returning to the Podiumcafé!
