From Friday, October 16, to Sunday, October 18, Zoetermeer will be buzzing with Route079. This free cultural weekend invites you to explore what the city has to offer in art and culture. Be amazed by local creators and artists, attend a performance or exhibition, or join a workshop. From music, dance, and poetry to visual arts and gaming: there’s something to see, hear, do, and experience for everyone. Whether you’re a frequent culture enthusiast or simply curious about what Zoetermeer has to offer, there’s plenty to discover.

At Poppodium Boerderij, there’s also plenty happening during Route079. On Sunday afternoon, three young and local acts will take the stage:

Anne & Janou

Looking for relaxing and atmospheric live music on a Sunday afternoon? Janou (vocals) and Anne (guitar, piano, and backing vocals) bring a mix of classics and newer songs. The two have known each other since school, grew up with music, and regularly perform at Music Soul House music school. They love sharing this shared passion with you!

Bandits

From pop-punk to hard rock, Bandits delivers an energetic and emotional sound. The young band draws inspiration from artists like Paramore, Garbage, The Cure, and Pierce the Veil. With guitars, bass, drums, and vocals, the band members share their sheer joy in making music together.

Maninfest – Cover Artist: Joshua Brom

Guitar, vocals, and a unique twist on familiar songs—that’s Maninfest, the passion project of Joshua Brom, where he shares emotions and stories. Expect a varied acoustic mix of rock, metal, and indie from different eras, with a special love for bands like Alice in Chains and Muse.
