CANCELED - Stick Men with David Cross

Statement band: I'm sorry to tell you that we in Stick Men don't see how we can safely do the October tour of Europe, so sadly we're going to have to bow out. Pat and I have been touring the U.S. with King Crimson and are learning daily how very difficult it is to stay safe when travelling and playing shows this year, even with the resources that Crimson has to keep protocols. We appreciate all the work that's been put into preparing for the bookings, and regret that it has to be this way. Hopefully the coming years will give us a chance coming to the cities and venues we so love to bring our music to. Again, our apologies and thanks, and best wishes, Tony Levin
Stick Men will perform a unique show together with violinist David Cross (King Crimson) at Cultuurpodium Boerderij. Progressive rock band Stick Men is founded by the American bassist Tony Levin, drummer Pat Mastelotto (indeed, the entire rhythm section of the legendary King Crimson!) and guitarist Marcus Reuter. Tony Levin is a special guy, in many ways. He is seen as one of the most important and influential bass players in the world. He is best known for his work with Peter Gabriel and King Crimson. Tony Levin is responsible for the popularization of the Chapman Stick, a truly remarkable musical instrument. Pat Mastelotto is one of the most sought after drummers in the progressive rock scene. Guitarist Marcus Reuter is known for his unique Touch Guitar. With no less than 3 musicians with a King Crimson background you may expect various musical adaptations from this iconic band's repertoire such as: The Talking Drum, Lark's Tongues In Aspic, Breathless, and Starless.
