'The Aristocrats have a way of bringing the impossible to life' says Prog Magazine about perhaps the most famous instrumental rock-fusion band of the moment.
The band consists of guitarist Guthrie Govan (Steven Wilson, Asia, GPS), bassist Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Dethklok) and drummer Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani). They gleefully blow the supergroup stereotype to pieces with supernatural band chemistry. Their songs show influences from King Crimson, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa and Return To Forever, but these guys throw so much more into the mix. A live performance is characterized by experience, virtuosity and loads of energy and fun. They make music with elements of rock, jazz, pop, metal and even country with plenty of room for improvisation.
