There is no doubt that Elvis is still immensely popular. This is also evident from the success of The Elvis Concert, a top-notch production with lots of passion and authenticity. Lead singer is the phenomenal Dwight Icenhower who has the looks, voice and charisma of Elvis’. He is one of the few ETAs (Elvis Tribute Artist) officially recognized by Graceland.
Furthermore, the band consists of original musicians and friends of Elvis. Jim Murray is the choir singer with whom Elvis sang the gospels. You can still hear why Jim was one of Elvis's favorite singers: with his beautiful and melancholic voice, suddenly Elvis sounds very close. Drummer Bob Lanning also played with Elvis.
The Elvis Concert is a celebration of the music of The King. All of the hit songs, but also beautiful gospels and surprising B-sides are dealt with. The band takes you back to the time of hit songs such as Hound Dog, Devil in Disguise and Suspicious Minds. With Dwight and the original musicians you get the 'Best Elvis Show after Elvis'.
