The unmistakable sound of the 80s defines Toontje Lager, or perhaps the other way around. The popular Dutch-language band returns to the stage after thirty years with a new lineup, but still featuring figurehead and singer Erik Mesie.
Erik Mesie's voice in Stiekem Gedanst evokes memories for every Dutch person; whether it's from your own records or from the radio in the backseat of your parents' car. Both familiar and lesser-known Toontje Lager material will be featured, as well as Mesie's solo hit Zonder Jou (Without You). The band provides an evening full of (childhood) sentiment for everyone who (or whose parents) was young back then.
