Poppodium Boerderij would not be able to organize so many concerts without the help of enthusiastic volunteers. There are several working groups for you to join. We also have a number of paid vacancies. View the overview below. If you would like more information, please send an email to info@boerderij.org.
We currently have the following vacancies available:
Vacancy: Bar Staff Podiumcafé (Paid Position)
(4–12 hours per week)
Local bands regularly perform in the Podiumcafé on weekdays and weekends. During concerts in the CreativeColors Hall, the café also serves as a foyer where visitors can enjoy a drink before and after the show.
Who are we looking for?
Are you 18+ and looking for a fun side job next to your studies? Do you have bar experience, enjoy getting things done, and have an interest in music? Are you flexible and available during the week as well as on weekends? Then we’d love to hear from you! Working days are planned in consultation. Experience in hospitality is a plus, but more important is that you are welcoming, customer-oriented, and responsible. If you’re someone who thinks in solutions, you’ll fit right in with our team.
Apply
Think you’re up for the challenge and ready to help create a great experience for our visitors as part of our team? Then send your application by email to: paul@boerderij.org.
Volunteer kitchen staff
For the artists who perform with us, a meal is always cooked by an enthusiastic group of volunteers. This group is in dire need of some extra hands. So; do you have an affinity with cooking and would you like to prepare a meal for artists and staff on the evening of a concert, together with others?
Please contact Paul Kamer.

Volunteer stage hand (artist support officer)
The artist is accompanied from arrival to departure. By continuing to communicate well with various parties, the artist support officer knows everything that is important about the artist and the specific production. The artist support officer is communicative and flexible, but he certainly also has the ability to act decisively without disturbing the atmosphere. He/she is careful and punctual. With people knowledge and a flexible attitude, the stage hand knows how to enthuse and motivate everyone. A good physical condition is required for assembly and disassembly of equipment. Knowledge of building a backline is a plus. Keep in mind that you often have to be there early.
For more information, please contact Paul Kamer.
