Bioscope is the long-awaited joint project between guitar master Steve Rothery (Marillion) and electronic composer Thorsten Quaeschning (Tangerine Dream).
During this world premiere, Bioscope will be seen playing live for the first time!
The collaboration was born in 2020 during intensive studio sessions in Berlin and Southwest England. Their instrumental compositions are inspired by the human fascination with moving images, and combine melodic, cinematic guitar parts with electronic sequences in the style of the Berlin School. The result is an atmospheric, layered musical landscape that feels like a film without images. With their years of experience, Rothery and Quaeschning bring to life an intimate yet grand musical dialogue – a true cinema of sounds that depict life. Just like on the album, they will be joined live by Alex Reeves (Elbow) on drums!
