Jazz guitarist and songwriter Mike Stern is one of the giants of his generation. He has played with Miles Davis, Billy Cobham, The Brecker Brothers, Jaco Pastorius, Steps Ahead, David Sanborn, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Joe Henderson.
His solo career is also successful; he has released more than a dozen albums. This highly acclaimed jazz artist has received several awards for his brilliant playing. Tonight, Mike Stern will perform with four other virtuosos:
Guitarist Leni Stern, wife of, was previously voted by Guitar Player as one of the 50 most sensational female guitarists ever. She also plays the n'goni, an African string instrument, and is responsible for the vocals.

Gary Grainger began his career with his brother Gregory in the band Pockets and toured with Earth, Wind & Fire. He gained widespread fame as the bassist for John Scofield, with whom he recorded several albums. Later, he formed the funk group Graffiti with Dennis Chambers and worked with several top musicians. Today, Grainger-basses are played by renowned bassists worldwide.
Drummer Dennis Chambers can play many styles, but is best known for his jazz-fusion, funk, and Latin styles. He is known for his impressive technique and speed. Chambers has worked with John Scofield, Steely Dan, Santana, Parliament/Funkadelic, John McLaughlin, and many others.
