Genesis was founded in 1967 with Peter Gabriel on vocals. After several lineup changes in the early years, the classic lineup of Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Mike Rutherford took shape in 1976. Genesis became one of the world's best-selling and most successful bands of all time.
